MR. ARIF NADEEM
Director
Arif Nadeem currently serves as CEO of Pakistan Agricultural Coalition (PAC), an organization which is committed to transforming Pakistan’s agriculture sector by developing new business models for agricultural growth. As CEO of PAC, Mr. Nadeem has provided oversight for the design and execution of various projects which include incubation of a world class cotton seed company, development of an electronic trading platform for red chillis, and introduction of mechanized rice farming services in lower Sindh. Further, Mr. Nadeem’s contribution to the introduction of the Electronic Warehouse Receipts (EWR) regime in Pakistan and the establishment of Naymat Collateral cannot be understated. His oversight of crucial pilots to test the collateral management model, and his coordination with government has been instrumental to the successful launch of the regime.
Prior to his work at PAC, Mr. Nadeem spent 35 years in the public sector and has served as Secretary for the government of Punjab in the departments of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Health. He has a BA in History and Political Science from the Pakistan Military Academy, holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Punjab, and has attended several trainings at various institutes including the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and the National School of Public Policy.
