Experienced banking executive with roles at global, regional and country levels. Global responsibility for the Risk Policy Office at Citibank and for the Risk Organization at Habib Bank Limited. At Country / Group Head level positions with supervisory (management) experience of more than 20 years.
More than 20 years of work experience in complex business environments, including Africa and South Asia as well as managing the energy portfolio during the oil price meltdown of 2015.
Level 2 Senior Credit Officer (SCO) at Citibank- a recognition of credit skills, sound judgment and integrity. Managed portfolio of c. US$ 12 Bn in Sub Sahara Africa, and later, part of the Energy portfolio of US$ 54 Bn.
Previously, as Corporate and Investment Banking Head, responsible for all country credit relationships (Jordan and Kuwait) with approved facilities exceeding US$ 2.5 Bn to various categories of customers including public sector, local corporate, global and FI (financial institutions) relationships.
