MR. ADNAN PASHA

Adnan brings rich multi-faceted experience having worked over 28 years both internationally and in Pakistan as a career banker spanning senior line management roles in Global Markets/ Treasury, Corporate & Investment banking as well as a staff role as COO of Global Emerging Markets at an international bank.
Following his graduation from the US with an MBA degree, Adnan has been associated with numerous reputable organizations including Bank of America, ABN AMRO, RBS, Unicredit Bank, and MCB.
Adnan is currently at HBL where he joined as the Chief of Staff in May 2018 reporting to the President & CEO as a core member of the Executive Committee, and with responsibilities for diverse business and strategic initiatives at the country’s largest systemically important bank. He is involved in driving strategic oversight as a member of the management Risk, Compliance & Controls committees besides the IT Steering & Asset/Liability committees. At the tactical level, Adnan leads the head office operating model optimization to make HBL more future-proof and customer-centric, as well as client segmentation and improving customer journeys. He has been the operations lead for the strategic and financially inclusive Development Finance initiatives which bring together cross-functional teams to design the ecosystem around Agri value chain solutions across HBL’s investments.
