Ms. Amna Hasan is currently heading the Investment Banking and Corporate Banking – South Divisions and has over 18 years of diversified experience in the banking and financial sector specializing in Corporate Banking, Projects and Structured Financing, Equity Markets and Advisory. In her time at MCB Investment Banking spanning over 13 years, Ms. Hasan has been successfully able to close transactions worth over USD 16 Billion in the areas of infrastructure, energy, power, telecommunications and chemicals. Additionally, under her leadership as Head of Investment Banking since 2013, MCB Bank Ltd has been able to successfully foray into capital and equity markets with transactions varying from Initial and Secondary Public offerings, Private offerings to Rights and Mergers & Acquisition of several leading corporations in the country. Simultaneously, while heading the Corporate South – Wholesale Banking group, she continues to oversee an overall portfolio of over USD 2 Billion, ranging from multinational and local large corporates to public sector enterprises attaining a varied industry experience encompassing chemicals, fertilizer, foods, pharmaceuticals, telecommunication, textiles, petroleum, gas, energy and power amongst others. Prior to joining MCB Bank Ltd in 2006, Ms. Hasan has been associated with Standard Charted Modaraba, Pak Oman Investment Company and Invest Capital Securities. Ms. Amna Hasan received her Masters degree in Business Economics from University of Punjab in 2000.
